Asahi Pentax K2 for sale
I am thinning down the herd, so this must go.
WTS a chrome body 35mm film SLR, the Asahi Pentax K2 (body only). It takes Pentax K mount lenses (for a full compatibility-functionality chart, see www.mosphotos.com/PentaxLensCompatibility.html)
The K2 was introduced alongside the KX, K1000 and MX. The K2 was the flagship Pentax film SLR in it's day. The K2 has the distinction of being the first Pentax K-mount body with an autoexposure system (Aperture Priority) and the first Pentax SLR with a vertical travel metal shutter.

This camera has just come back from a full CLA & service, so it is very clean & all functions are 100% operational.
Cosmetic condition: I'd rate this EX (excellent, as per KEH's grade guide). There is a very minor dent on top of the prism housing, also a smudge on the otherwise excellent leatherette covering. Other than that, it's very clean inside and out. See the attached photos.
Mechanical & functional condition: It was 100% working when I first got it, and after the full CLA & service, it's even more...maybe 200% operational? :) I have run 2 rolls of film through the camera before the CLA, and it all came out good.
What do you get: The body only, no lens or strap. But it does come with the strap lugs and a body cap.
Warranty: Although this camera is fully functioning and have just had a CLA, there is no warranty expressed or implied by me.
I'd prefer for this to be a local sale (to Malaysians in order to simplify delivery), but will also consider buyers from other countries. Shipping can be arranged via FedEx International delivery, which will cost quite a bit but will be secure.
