Bird Skull Rock

Rocks that look like skulls were a theme this year in the desert. This scene was actually very close to the other night image I recently posted - my buddy and I called this one the bird skull. We used small tea lights (battery powered) to illuminate the inside of the "eye" and then used small panel lights to light up the outside. The sky is tracked and stacked using a full spectrum modified Canon R5, with Visible + Ha and narrowband Ha filters to help highlight the reds in the Milky Way.
