How We Look in Winter

HAPPY SLIDERS SUNDAY !!

I did a lot of heavy sliding here.

It was to emphasize how pretty this flowering bush*

manages to remain, right through the winter.

 

I am living in the "winter of my years."

However, I make a modest attempt to remain presentable.

So, the efforts of this bush resonate with me. 😎

 

But this bush gets to come back into its full glory in spring.

I don't know whether a springtime awaits me.

I leave it to theologians to address that.

 

* Thanks to some of you early commenters, I have learned that

this is some kind of Hydrangea, rather than a Viburnum.
