After the Drop Dropped

This was just a lucky shot. I never remember to set my camera for an automatic rapid sequence of shots. The shutter speed I had selected (1/500s) was enough to "freeze" the "back splash" after the water drop dropped.

The water is in a watering trough. It is partly reflecting the blue sky but also partly showing the green algae on the bottom of the trough. The trough's delivery pipe was about 50 cm above the surface. It was just dripping drops rather than delivering a stream.

Location: Moostal, Riehen BS Switzerland.

In my album: Dan's Water World.
