Common Buckeye - Assateague Island National Seashore, Chincoteague, VA
This guy was definitely into sunning on the gravel walkway, which I thought made for an uninteresting image, so I repeatedly placed my shadow over it to encourage it to move to a more photogenic location. Fortunately the new location was near the edge of the pathway.
