The Ballandean Pyramid
Nestled in the quite wine district of Ballandean is this sizeable pyramid.
I've shot this before but couldn't pass up this impressive sky.
Some facts about the pyramid from Ken Stubberfield, the builder:
* The pyramid was built to clean up the rocks from the estate
* The pyramid 30*30m at the base and is 18m high
* There is approx 8 thousand tons of rock and fill. Rocks range from 5 ton down to half a ton
* It took about 12 months to build using a 22 tonne excavator.
