"A Rose By Any Other Name...."

This is a slice of the ever so slow transformation of the Lorton Reformatory into a tony, upscale, gated community. The prison, located in northern Virginia, had in its prime some 10,000 inmates serving time for crimes ranging from drug possession to multiple murders. When the prison was closed the 500 acre facility was sold off in parcels which are now being developed. Sort of ironic how a prison gets turned into a "gated community." Worse yet the developers have opted to dub the development "Liberty" and have named everything Liberty this and Liberty that. Sick sense of humor IMO. : ((
