Early hours of Christmas Eve the Inverness to Euston Highlander Sleeper failed at Preston, due to a problem with the new Mk5 carriages preventing the train to run above 3MPH.
After 2 attempts to depart the train was cancelled and I assume passengers transferred to a another London bound service
GBRf 92 020 passing Lower Heamies Farm not long after sun rise with 5M16 the empty sleeper stock move from Preston to Wembley.
