'free ride'
I haven't been out to see the Sandhill Cranes in the Lodi area yet, but soon after this Christmas hectic time of the year passes I plan on making a visit. These were taken June of this year in Sierra Valley that I thought were interesting. Apparently these cranes were getting a bit too close to the blackbirds nest and he was doing his best to ward them off!...then taking a 'free ride' on it's back when it got tired.
