Today as I become a day older…

Am I wiser? Not really sure

 

As I look back to yesteryears…

I remember the sorrows and the loves

The unforgettable marks on my soul…

 

And tomorrow…a new day to this unfinished journey

Tomorrow…I pray for strength

to embrace the sorrows yet to come.

I wish for perseverance to stand up when I fall

 

And I hope for worthiness to love and be loved,
