Florida "Cracker"

The Florida "Cracker" got his name from the cracking sound his whip made as he was herding his cattle. Florida is well known for it's beautiful beaches and Disney World. The majority of Florida is actually used for farming and grazing land. I'm not sure of the statistics currently, but a few years ago, there were more beef cattle raised in Florida than in Texas.
