Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout
I finally had an opportunity to photograph the new Guardians overlay to the former Tower of Terror...At night, this is attraction is stunning...Daytime, it looks busy and techy, but those who remember ToT, can see right through the facade.
As amazing as this attraction looks at night, it is totally out of place with everything else in DCA...Visible from many angles in the park, it just looks weird, and like it doesn't belong.
The ride however, is amazingly fun and immersive. Much better than ToT ever was, with more movement that is unpredictable and more intense.
Manually blended HDR photo from 3 base images at ISO 200, f.11 (3 seconds, 13 seconds, & 30 seconds) plus 1 dedicated for the sky at ISO 400, 20 seconds, to prevent star stretching, and 1 intended to mask out two groups of people, ISO 400, 10 seconds.
