Marilyn does Chicago
The 26-foot sculpture by Seward Johnson known as “Forever Marilyn,” was unveiled Friday morning in Pioneer Court just north of the Michigan Avenue bridge. It's just across from the Wrigley Building. Jack Brickhouse (sculpture) looks on from just north and I'm sure he is enjoying the view!
There were so many people there yesterday taking pictures and standing at the base. People waited in a line just to get their picture taken with the sculpture. It was impossible to get a shot without a huge crowd of people. I kind of like this one with the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone. I took some of the crowd that I will post here later.
Just wanted to share!
