Sheffield’s Walking Man (25/365)

Statue situated outside the Winter Gardens in Sheffield. It’s not always been in this exact spot. I vaguely recall it being in a dark hidden corner outside the Town Hall extension (known by everyone as ‘The Eggbox’) when I was a student in Sheffield in the 1980s. Ha, that's reminded me that 'The Eggbox' was next door to the 'Wedding Cake' - Sheffield's registry office. You can guess what it looked like. Anyway, I digress. I’ve always admired this statue. Apparently it was created by Sheffield’s George Fullard in 1957.
