Today's listening on repeat. Communique is an often overlooked Dire Straits album and I've never really understood why. It's probably my favourite and has been since my dad introduced me to them in the late 70s. Reminds me of being sat on rolls of carpet in his van when I helped him out (he was a carpet fitter). No front passenger seat - he took that out so he could fit the rolls of carpet in and so we sat where we could. If you fell out or hurt yourself it was your own fault. Great times.
