day 364: yggdrasil

the basketball courts across the street from our grocery store, on one of the first blocks i pass on my way to work. on the weekends they're crammed with kids, and a deejay is playing some combination of gospel and rap. in the morning i walk past them and whisper "world tree" to myself.
