when i added this item to the list, i was imagining more efficient under-the-bed storage for winter coats - but as it turned out, vacuum bags are the best thing to happen to our poor bug-infested apartment since mattress encasements. all of our dry cleaning and laundry (about 97% of our clothes and remaining linens, all told) are now squinched together in these things. they're kind of like giant pieces of beef jerky.
