I knew I wanted to post a second image tonight, just because. And pretty much, who cares! :) Thats the beauty of flickr, post what you want, when you want! :) I wanted to get this one out here, I think I like it a bit more the one I posted last night. The foreground is a bit dark, but this was sometime after sunset. I really did not keep track of time at all while out last night, but we did get home late!
Why do I love this one? I love the neon blue of the water, almost like it has a light source under the water. Doing the long exposures, you can really get some need effects that just cannot happen at 1/100 of a second! :) You really never know what you are going to come home with. What I find interesting about this particular shot, is that I forgot to take off my ND 0.9 filter! I had been shooting a good part of the evening with it and after the sun was gone, I just forgot to take it off! It is such a light filter, only 3 stops, that it is barley noticeable! But yet, it adds so much. And judging by the color, I would even venture to say that I did use the Cokin soft grad filter on this one as well. Please do enjoy!
