So, tonight was the night, head off to the sunset and don't return until you get an image of the two planets dancing with the crescent moon. As you can see by the heavy cloud cover, that did not happen! Instead, I got a rare treat of a clouded sunset. And the sun, at the very end, made a small appearance. So nice of lady sun. This image was taken quite a bit after the sun had set and a bit before a wave side swiped me, making me wonder if just my boots were going to get wet tonight! (The camera got it tonight, but I think its ok, made me upset tough)
When I arrived at La Jolla, I had no idea where I wanted to camp out, so I just walked, and walked and walked. Finally, about half an hour before sunset, I found this and started to shoot. Even got a 7.5 minute exposure here that I might post soon, but it needs slight work, again, a bit underexposed. I am finding, I still need to play with my new ND filter! :)
And, on a final note, my lens, back from the shop 2 days ago, is making error messages again! UGH! It might have to go back to the shop, but it did continue to work for me tonight. I hope you enjoy!
