Are you my Mother?

Over the past three years, I have been trying to decide what to do with photography. First started off as landscape. Which I will keep up with again, once I get a chance to make it to my second home, La Jolla!

 

It has been a long road of loosing my job and taking photography from a hobby to a business. But I think I have finally found what I WANT to shoot, my niche. Why is this important? Because with no job in the near future, I need to find work somewhere!

 

So, I won't bore you with the details, but a tog friend of mine, as I was starting out, pointed out to these great newborn photographers and suggested I look into that. Are you crazy! I can't do that! (I do believe I used those exact words.) And, at the same time, I have spend the past twenty years being a birth doula. It only took three years of photography to put the two together! But the many years of practice made it possible to be happy with the results the first go around!

 

End results, I am planning on removing all topics off my website outside of birth and newborn! Oh, what a move! But I am happy with my direction!

 

What about seascape? I will still post when I do that! I miss my La Jolla. And I most likely will not post a tun of baby photos. I will keep babies for Facebook and La Jolla for Flickr, lol.
