Cleanup
Last August one of my friends house burned to the ground and they escaped unharmed, but lost everything in the fire
After 11 months of delays, for various reasons, the cleanup has finally begun! We made a day of it yesterday and watched the loaders, bobcats and excavators knock down the few remaining brick walls and start to clean up what was left of the house. It was quite cathartic and is hopefully the beginning of the end of a really, really long year.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone again for their well wishes and to those who were able to donate loose and new boxed sets to my friends 4 kids.
I bought a young builder Digger set for my friends son, who turned 4 over the weekend, and we put it together during lunch. We then proceeded to push/move bricks around and do our own "house cleanup" with the LEGO Digger.
