The quarry of Cachicata was the place of extraction of the stones that were utilized for the development of Ollantaytambo and many encompassing zones. This place is 9 kilometers from the Inca town of Ollantaytambo and has three gatherings of quarries: Molle Pucro, Sirkusirkuyoc (it was the biggest), demonstrates proof of having been in full activity when the Spaniards entered this zone.
