In my last job at Microsoft I was in a group that developed guidance for Developers and IT Pros. These were the books produced by the group while I was in it and we had lots of other work that was just published on MSDN or TechNet as a download.
This was actually a really fun group and I liked it because we really got to be the advocate for our consumers and if products didn't work as advertised or if they had conflicts with each other we'd work with the product groups to resolve the issues so that end customers would have a better experience.
While I did not write any of these books (not by a long shot!) I did help define what scenarios our customers needed help with and the requirements for what would be covered.
I'm cleaning out one of my storage areas and have decided that it's time for these guys to go..... so the photo will replace the big ol' box they were in. ;-)
