120208-N-ED900-595 PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 08, 2012) Chief Boatswain's Mate Eduardo Garcia, aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91), connects a sling to an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from the Eightballers of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8, attached to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), during a vertical replenishment. Pinckney is a part of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group and is operating in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations.
