guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) pose for a photo on the
ship's foc'sle while transiting Seventh Fleet. Milius is on deployment
to the western Pacific region and U.S. Central Command area of
responsibility. Pictured in the front is the ship's mascot, the Milius
Red Lion. The lion represents the ship's name sake, Captain Paul
Milius', extraordinary heroism as the aircraft commander in Observation
