Plane Watching at London Heathrow Airport from the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel - August 25th, 2025
After our cruise, we headed to Heathrow Airport where we spent the night before flying back home to Detroit. We booked a Superior Runway View Room at the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel (Bath Road, Hounslow, TW6 2AQ United Kingdom). These are pictures from our room (2226) and from the grounds between the hotel and the runway. Saw three A380s up close that morning - Qantas (VH-OQA), British Airways (G-XLEA) and Emirates (A6-EUM). The runway that is very close to the hotel is 09R. On Sunday the 24th, Dusty from Big Jet TV was filming right outside our window! What an amazing spot for plane spotting.
