North Sea Wind farm (Netherlands) - From the Independence of the Seas - August 13th, 2025
As we were heading off to Hamburg on our first day at sea, we saw a great number of offshore wind farms in the North Sea. I am fairly sure these are part of the Netherlands, but I did not track the exact location for sure. These are amazing to see up close and I love capturing pictures of renewable energy sources. These were taken on Wednesday August 13th as we headed on the North Sea towards Hamburg, Germany. On board the Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas for our first back-to-back cruises. These pictures are from the sailing on August 12th, 2025: Independence of the Seas (Royal) from Southampton (UK) to Hamburg, Germany & Rotterdam, Netherlands. So many firsts on these cruises!
