Visit to the Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral) - Berlin, Germany - May 16th, 2025
I was in Berlin attending the INCONECSS Conference. After the conference ended, I had time to visit the beautiful Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral) located at Am Lustgarten, 10178 Berlin, Germany. A colleague of mine shared that you can climb to the base of the dome and take in a panoramic view of the city. From the Wikipedia, "the present collegiate church was built from 1894 to 1905 by order of Emperor William II according to plans by Julius Raschdorff in Renaissance and Baroque Revival styles. The listed building is the largest Protestant church in Germany, 2nd largest worldwide and one of the most important dynastic tombs in Europe."
