Fox squirrels on campus at the University of Michigan on Thursday January 2nd, 2025. Met Chip and Dale, two squirrels on the Diag (northwest of Hatcher) with a bad case of mange. They might be sharing a nest. I think they might be a juvenile and a mother. The juvenile (Chip) is mostly bald. I got them both their first dose of meds. Need that coat to get through the winter. Wishing you joy, health, and peace wherever you are.
