The International Parade of Flags on the Jewel of the Seas - September 27th, 2023, our last day at sea before returning to New York City and Cape Liberty. The description of the event from the Cruise Compass - "It’s like a floating United Nations. Join the officers, staff and crew aboard the Jewel of the Seas, representing over 70 nations at this unique event. Don’t forget your camera. 11:00 am, Centrum, Deck 4." The Centrum is a great spot for this. Next time, I will get there earlier to get better pictures! On board the Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas for a grand 14 day cruise to Greenland (September 14th through 28th, 2023). The cruise embarks from Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) with an actual stop in Manhattan (a delay leaving NYC caused by Hurricane Lee); Nuuk, Qaqortoq & Nanortalik in Greenland; St.John's, Newfoundland before heading back to New York City. Truly a grand adventure!
