Watching the Northern Lights on the Jewel of the Seas 14 Night Cruise to Greenland - September 23rd, 2023
On my photographic wish list were some pictures of the Northern Lights. I have never seen them until this trip. It was difficult to get the hang of photographing them - but by the third night, I kinda got the hang of it. These were taken on the evening of September 23rd, 2023, our last day in Greenland (after our stop in Nanortalik). Ran up to the deck and called Pam to join me. Did not notice it until later, but I have never gotten a picture of the Big Dipper before - kinda cool! This was spectacular and I hope to see them again. On board the Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas for a grand 14 day cruise to Greenland (September 14th through 28th, 2023). The cruise embarks from Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) with an actual stop in Manhattan (a delay leaving NYC caused by Hurricane Lee); Nuuk, Qaqortoq & Nanortalik in Greenland; St.John's, Newfoundland before heading back to New York City. It was a grand adventure!
