Pictures from the wonderful excursion Fiord Safari Boat Tour at Nuuk, Greenland, our first stop in that country. From the description of the excursion: "Take a short walk from the port to your boat and set out into the beautiful waters surrounding Nuuk, Greenland's capital and largest city position on the tail end of the Nuuk fjord; Look back to shore for mountain views and to the waters in search of seals, whales, sea eagles and seabirds that are plentiful in the region (NOTE: did not really see any wildlife); and Marvel at waterfalls and/or icebergs in all shapes and forms that dot the area, with your captain navigating to the best, most scenic sites." With the late arrival, and the rescheduling of the excursions we almost missed this. Glad that it was running late as we had two tours booked that day. It was remarkable and the pictures only do it partial justice. On board the Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas for a grand 14 day cruise to Greenland (September 14th through 28th, 2023). The cruise embarks from Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) with an actual stop in Manhattan (a delay leaving NYC caused by Hurricane Lee); Nuuk, Qaqortoq & Nanortalik in Greenland; St.John's, Newfoundland before heading back to New York City. It was a grand adventure!
