West Chop Lighthouse (Tisbury, Massachusetts) from the Celebrity Summit - Ten Night Bermuda and Charleston Cruise - May 16th, 2023
On our way to Martha's Vineyard on our first day at sea, we passed the beautiful West Chop Lighthouse on the morning of May 16th, 2023. The lighthouse is near Oak Bluffs (our port in Martha's Vineyard) and is located in the town of Tisbury. It is located to the west of East Chop, not that far from Oak Bluffs Martha's Vineyard on the Vineyard Sound. The 45 foot tower has a focal height above the water of 84 feet and was constructed in 1891. One of five lighthouses I saw from the Celebrity Summit on the morning of the 16th! On board the Celebrity Summit for the Ten Night Bermuda & Charleston, SC Cruise (May 15 through May 25, 2023). The cruise embarks from Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) with an additional stop at Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
