Black-Tailed Prairie Dogs During Our Visit to Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge (Adams County, Colorado) - June 7th, 2023
On our way to the airport on the morning of Wednesday June 7th, 2023, we stopped at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge in Adams County, Colorado. It is next to Commerce City and very close to the Denver International Airport. Here are some black-tailed prairie dogs that we saw on the Wildlife Drive around the refuge. From their website: "The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge is one of the largest urban refuges in the country. It is a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of busy urban life where time moves at nature's pace.
