Wyoming Ground Squirrel (Near the Upper Beaver Meadows Trailhead) - Rocky Mountain National Park (Colorado) - June 4th & 5th, 2023
Not too far from the Upper Beaver Meadows Trailhead, there is a very nice picnic area. We went there a few times, because not only did they have a nice place to grab a bite to eat, there were all sorts of birds and wildlife near there. Here are some Wyoming Ground Squirrels near the picnic area on June 4th and 5th, 2023. They look like miniature prairie dogs. Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park with my son for a few days.
