Eastern Grey Squirrels at Waterfront Park and White Point Gardens - Charleston (SC) - May 22nd & 23rd, 2023 - From the Celebrity Summit - Ten Night Bermuda and Charleston Cruise - May 15-25, 2023
I have long tried to match up my enjoyment of cruise vacations with my passion for squirrel photography. I have been all over, but I think I might have found the best squirrel-themed port for cruise vacations! I saw a ton of these great little eastern grey squirrels everywhere in Charleston. These are primarily at Waterfront Park, adjacent to the United States Custom House, and over at White Point Garden at the tip of the Battery in Charleston, South Carolina. I made a point of getting out both mornings we were in port to get pictures and was very happy with the results. I hope to visit a port that has more squirrel activity - but until then, Charleston is the champ! Took these pictures on morning walks on Monday May 22nd and Tuesday May 23rd, 2023. On board the Celebrity Summit for the Ten Night Bermuda & Charleston, SC Cruise (May 15 through May 25, 2023). The cruise embarks from Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) with an additional stop at Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
