Fox squirrels at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on a very cold day - Friday February 3rd, 2023. Many squirrels were hunkering down in their nests. Saw what I think was a momma and her offspring hanging right by her. Likely born in September or October. Squirrels not mother and child, will not normally be so close to each other.
