Fox squirrels on a spring day in Ann Arbor, Tuesday April 19th, 2022. The highlight of the day was seeing the squirrels play in the scilla field near Martha Cook. This blooms beautifully every April and I was so glad to catch some squirrels there. The blue of the flowers makes a beautiful backdrop. Since the grass is getting as tall as the flowers, that is usually a sign that the season is already over. Lots of mommas who are nursing their babies in their nests. We'll see the juveniles soon.
