Eastern Grey Squirrels in Latrobe Park (Locust Point Neighborhood, Baltimore, Maryland) - October 12th, 2019
Wonderful eastern grey squirrels at the Latrobe Park this morning. I was in Baltimore with Pam for the Fashion Royalty Convention. On Saturday I visited Fort McKinley. On the way home, I noticed some squirrels in Latrobe Park (located at 1627 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230). I decided that I needed some more squirrel pictures and these wonderful eastern grey squirrels were great subjects. While I was waiting for lunch, I decided to take more pictures. Here is information on the park from the Visit Baltimore site: "Latrobe Park is a neighborhood treasure in Locust Point. Originally only six acres in size, this park was created to serve the working class families on the Locust Point peninsula in addition to those on the trolley lines that ran along Fort Avenue. Unlike plans for much larger parks like Patterson Park and Clifton Park- what distinguishes Latrobe Park was the amount of active recreation that had to be accommodated in a tight space."
