Spring Point Ledge Light (South Portland, Maine) - Lighthouses of Maine Excursion Pictures - (Adventure of the Seas - July 29th, 2018)
We had an amazing time on board the Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas on our seven night cruise of New England and Canada (July 27th through August 3rd, 2018). Our first stop was Portland (Maine) and we took the "Lighthouses of Maine" shore excursion. We could not get on the morning excursion, so ours left at 2pm in the afternoon. The timing might have been very optimal as it clouded up a bit and those amazing clouds that contributed to some fantastic pictures. The excursion provided visits to three lighthouses. The Spring Point Ledge Light is a sparkplug lighthouse built in 1897 and located in South Portland.
