Here are some pictures of one of three squirrels I spotted at the Desert Botanical Gardens! The Round-tailed Ground Squirrel is a small ground squirrel. Amazing visit to the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix Arizona. This amazing public garden does a great job of showcasing the plants of the Sonoran Desert. From their site: "For nearly 80 years, Desert Botanical Garden has been teaching and inspiring visitors from the local community and around the world, providing research, exhibits and more designed to help us understand, protect and preserve the desert’s natural beauty." The botanical gardens are located at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway (Phoenix, AZ 85008) in Papago Park. Visited this park on the mornings of Tuesday July 10th and Wednesday July 11th, 2018. May try to make it back one more time!
