Fiddlers ReStrung at Friday and Saturday Night Live (New Buffalo, Michigan)
Fiddlers ReStrung playing in New Buffalo, Michigan on Saturday August 15, 2009 for the Friday and Saturday Night Live, sponsored by New Buffalo Business Association. While we might have been expecting a closed off street (like the do in Saline), we were greeted with the realization that we were playing in a piece of cement sticking out from The Villager show in this lovely Lake Michigan community. While it was odd, playing with cars moving past. Sound check was a bit of a bear, with the sounds coming from the streets and the very tight spaces in which the performers had. The sound was good and the people seemed to enjoy themselves, though most of them were in the process of going somewhere. Still we made a nice day of it.
