Red-Tailed Hawk Taking a Bath on a Hot Day in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan (June 12, 2017)
Very surprised to see this Red-Tailed Hawk taking a bath today on the Diag, just west of Hatcher Library. I am not sure if he was a juvenile, but he seemed to be wanting someone to feed him! When he opened his mouth, he was not screeching. It was hot - but not that hot around noon when I saw him. Taken on Monday June 12, 2017 at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
