Peggys Cove Lighthouse (Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia) - Halifax Highlights and Peggy's Cove Excursion Pictures - (Adventure of the Seas - August 1st, 2018)
We had an amazing time on board the Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas on our seven night cruise of New England and Canada (July 27th through August 3rd, 2018). Our last stop was Halifax, Nova Scotia and we took the Halifax Highlights and Peggy's Cove excursion. We drove around an hour from Halifax to Peggys Cove to view this beautiful lighthouse, also known as Peggys Point Lighthouse. The 1915 structure sits atop a granite outcrop at Peggys Point and is one of the most well known lighthouses in North America. All told, I was able to get pictures of over 20 lighthouses on this cruise - needless to say, I was very happy! Visited this beautiful lighthouse on Wednesday August 1st, 2018.
