The Rockford Cubbies (in their first season as Chicago Cubs affiliates) beat the West Michigan Whitecaps (Oakland A's Affiliate) by the score of 7-3. I took these on a hot day in July on a baseball trip I took when I was doing some research on the Midwest League. It never really materialized...maybe someday.
