As soon as we reached the big slope above the village, where we stopped to enjoy the view, Ema dashed off, rolling down the slope, and started picking daisies - carefully choosing only the most beautiful ones, the fresh, unharmed ones. Julian was off with a big leap, too, crouching somewhere else on the wide slope… Above us, dark clouds were gathering.

"These are for you, I have picked you some daisies - the best ones!" said Ema when she came back. And Julian standing behind her: "I have some flowers for you, too!". It had been a long time since somebody picked flowers - for me. It melted my heart.

At home we placed them in a glass of water, and the next morning, while it was pouring rain outside, we took some time to photograph them. On the window sill.
