Preparing to Test
The speed on the remaining operating portion of the Sydney Sub is nothing remarkable, and I was able to leapfrog ahead of CN 1501 with relative ease. Since I had missed my scenic take at Tracadie, I wanted another opportunity to include a portion of the Atlantic with the ex-RDC. The classic view of the test geometry car approaching the Tupper industrial spurs proved to be just perfect. Although the track car is not lit perfectly, the composition makes this photo in my opinion. The crew of CN 1501 will test both spurs before calling it a day after the long trek deadheading from Truro.
