I dug through the archives and found this summery flower photo to share with you guys :-)

(it was taken down south, in beautiful Skåne! [southern Sweden])

(( our dear friend Cartale lives there! ))

 

I absolutely love the way Poppy flowers look before they burst open!

So bright & red, and their green stems contrast the color of the petals beautifully : )

I was lucky enough to capture morning dewdrops upon the long hairs on the stem & bulb!

(the early morning light over the golden field in the background didn't hurt either) ;-)
