Dewdrop Morning Leaf (by the water's edge)
Short version ((Dewdrops on a Green Leaf!))
Long version: ((...story below!))
Hey guys!
Thought I'd brighten things up a bit after my last upload
(Blue Hour Bridge).
This is my macro attempt on a dewy leaf that I found next to
the water's edge one cool morning this past November : )
That blue background is the water which the plant was
overlooking. I think the white areas were ice which had
formed the night before.
The leafs were quite thick and the sun only seemed to
penetrate part of them, that surprised me since the
sunlight was quite intense that morning!
I think the curling of the leaves looked quite nice and may
have had something to do with the shading on some areas
as well.
Anyhow, what I enjoyed most about this capture were the
tiny droplets of morning dew dotted all along the plant : )
I was using the older compact Sony (HX60V) for this specific
shot.
I took more than 10 photos of these leaves and wound up
using the very first one!
(( I'm starting to realize that this happens more & more often
with my photography... the first capture often being the best ))
Excuse the rambling, I'm just jotting down a few things I
notice & learn along the way in this world of photography : )
Thanks for having a look guys!
I appreciate your time : )
