Ben says: My favourite example of how to convert an over-sized railway station into a shopping centre whilst retaining the character. Although, if you have to catch the train you soon realise you've been shoved most of the way down the line to the point you might consider actually walking the rest of the way to Slough.

Ben says: Lived in LA for 6 months in 1984. Being in LA for a 9 year old is the coolest thing in the universe. We went to this observatory, through Griffith Park and the cliched film tunnel. I remember the views, the pendulum, and not a great deal else, but I kept asking to go back.
